A Japanese scientist has observed that eating a serving of ice cream for breakfast improves brain function and increases the ability to receive information. The experiment was conducted by Yoshihiko Koga, a professor at Kyorin University in Tokyo. Under the conditions of the experiment, participants ate three scoops of ice cream before breakfast, and then completed computer-based tests of concentration, reaction speed, and analysis. It was done faster and better. An electroencephalogram showed an increase in the frequency of brain alpha waves. At the same time, it has been shown that alpha waves are related to concentration. Professor Yoshihiko Koga explained that this activity of the brain is related to the temperature of the ice cream, not the ice cream itself. "Cold" things are believed to wake up the brain faster, but in this experiment, people who drank cold water in the morning did not have such success. The increase in brain activity and activity in these people was very low. The scientist who conducted the study cannot yet explain this result and advises that eating a little ice cream at breakfast is not to blame.
