In 1992, a cargo ship accidentally dropped a cargo of 28,000 toy rubber ducks in the Pacific Ocean. After 20 years, small yellow rubber ducks can be seen floating on the beaches. Our most beautiful "environmental polluting" ducks continue to help oceanographers in their work of monitoring ocean currents.
